DEBATE-Kansas City (DKC) has it’s fifth summer debate camp at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) this year. All camp costs will be covered and travel stipends can be negotiated. Camp is busy but rewarding. Staff will split time introducing students to core concepts of this years debate topic but also will make time for fun. Camp will be staffed this year by DKC staff and DKC allums, Monica Medeiros and Deasia Graves. Current college debaters Chelle Newman (quarters of CEDA) and Mike Hauschildt (Finalist at the District 3 MAC)
For the first time DKC will split middle and upper school labs allowing for specific argumentative and skill drills for students specific needs. This year camp will be focused on the question should The United States federal government substantially reduce its restrictions on legal immigration to the United States.
There is a June 15th application deadline so make sure to apply as soon as possible.
