American Public Square Event

This month on April 25th DKC will be participating in the second of a two part series hosted by The American Public Square. After previously meeting at UMKC we will conclude this two part event at the World War One Museum and Memorial. Students will meet at the museum for a museum tour, a meal, and a public debate. The public debate participates are some of our most dedicated high school debaters and is judged by esteemed DKC alums. The debate will be on the 2017-2018 National Debate Topic:

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its funding and/or regulation of elementary and/or secondary education in the United States.

The schedule is below. The event is free for both the school and student, including a reimbursement for transportation.

3:45 pm Student drop off at the WW1 Museum and Memorial

4:00 pm Tour of the WW1 Museum

5:00 pm Dinner

6:00 pm Program

8:00 pm Adjourn
